New Pocket Guide Describes Diversity of Catalina's Marine Life

The Conservancy's new Marine Life of Santa Catalina Island Pocket Naturalist Guide features full color illustrations and descriptions of Catalina marine life. Printed on waterproof paper, it's a great companion for the beach, kayaking, or even on a dive.

The new guide joins the Conservancy's other three Pocket Naturalist Guides including Birds, Wildlife and Plants of Santa Catalina Island.

The field guide is dedicated to the late Dr. Bob Given, whose dedication to the conservation of Catalina's natural environments and life-long marine biology work inspired countless people to appreciate and preserve our precious marine environments. The Conservancy's Robert Given Fund for Ocean Conservation provided the resources to produce the guide.
