Michael Hall January 31, 1950 - March 17, 2017

Mike Hall passed away doing what he loved, golfing. Mike was preparing for a tournament the next day when he suffered a life ending heart attack on Catalina's Golf Course. Paramedics were quick to respond but, sadly for all of us, Mike could not be revived.

When Mike first came to the island he was a shrimper but later became a very successful contract painter, a career that stayed with him. Mike will not only be missed on the golf course but on Step Beach with his friends and on the Wall on front street enjoying his cappuccino and cigar.

Mike was known and loved by just about everyone on Avalon and his friendly and warm personality as well as his good looks and beautiful blue eyes will always be in our memory.

Mike leaves behind his daughters Andrea and Samantha and all of his friends. Until we meet again, goodbye. An account has been established for Mike's family at US Bank in the name of Samantha M. Hall.

There will be a memorial at Step Beach on April 2, 2017 at 1 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at Bird Park. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be served so we are asking people to bring a side dish and deserts.
