The Catalina Island Museum invites you to First Fridays at the Museum on Friday, April 7 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

This month's event offers one of the first opportunities to explore Chihuly at the Catalina Island Museum at night while listening to live jazz music by local musician Porschia Denning and enjoying a beverage from the bar. Chihuly's Short Cuts film will be shown in the museum's outdoor amphitheater throughout the course of the evening. Short Cuts features a number of vignettes about the artist's process and various installations over the course of his career.

The museum will re-open for this event at 6:00 pm. The film will run continuously. Attendees can watch as much or as little of the film as they like.  Wine, beer, soda and water will be available for purchase. No outside food or drinks allowed.
