Avalon Big Flea Market returns to Overlook Hall

Ready to scratch your antique and collectibles itch?  Then you should know that this year the 3rd Annual Avalon Big Flea will be held over Labor Day weekend, September 2nd and 3rd.  Our very own island flea market will offer Catalina pottery and memorabilia, art, fishing tackle, books and magazines, wedding leftovers, and much more! Show hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on both days and admission is free.

Better yet, a percentage of proceeds will go to benefit the Catalina Island Foundation (CIF), a non-profit charity founded in 2014 to support local community service groups.  Since its inception, CIF has donated more than $100,000 to such organizations.

The event will take place at the historic Overlook Hall, one of the island’s most iconic buildings that was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places.  First opened in 1929 as a Christian Science church, Overlook Hall underwent a two-year restoration beginning in 2010 that brought back to life all of its original Florentine beauty. Centrally located in the heart of Avalon, Overlook Hall today serves a dual role as community meeting place and special events venue.

There are still a few (very few) spots available for sellers, but interested parties should act soon.  For more information or to reserve a table, please call 310-427-2450 or send your inquiry to info@overlookhall.com
