Catalina Island Women's Forum to host Domestic Violance workshop

AVALON, CATALINA ISLAND - The Catalina Island Women's Forum will be hosting a Domestic Violence Counselor Training Workshop on Saturday, January 30th and Sunday January 31st.   This is a wonderful opportunity to gain information regarding various extents of abuse and how to recognize concerns. The workshop is open to the public and we ask that all participants understand there may be some material that is uncomfortable.

 The workshop will run from 9:00 a.m.until 4:00 p.m. with an hour lunch break at noon each day. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide identification if requested.  The Catalina Island Women's Forum will cover all costs for the workshop however they do ask that you please RSVP.  Seating is limited and is available on a first come  first serve basis.  For additional information and/or to RSVP please contact Marti Winslow at (310) 510-1613 or email winslow@catalinaisp.com.
