AVALON, CATALINA ISLAND - The children, teachers and staff at Avalon School will be participating in Red Ribbon Week, October 26-30, 2009. Red Ribbon Week is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country and is a way for communities and individuals to take a stand for the hopes and dreams of our children through a commitment to drug prevention and education by wearing red ribbons during this week.

We would like to have our local business take part in our participation and show support by doing red window displays and/or displaying red ribbons in a window or on a door.
