AVALON, CATALINA ISLAND - On Saturday, September 26, 2009 the Catalina Island Women's Forum will be hosting its 14th Annual Wine Festival and Silent Auction. The event will take place across from the bay at the Pavilion Lodge courtyard. The festival is from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Ticket price is $75, $65 if purchased by August 1st.

This annual event is sponsored by Catalina Island Women's Forum, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing charitable services to women and children on Catalina Island, including Student Mentoring and Scholarship Programs for high school junior and senior girls, a Women's Wellness Program, and other community projects. Monies raised during this event, the organization's primary fundraiser, help to support these important programs.
