The major event for last month was Easter and the "vacations" and "breaks" that surround it. Easter fell very early this year on March 23rd. Easter falls on the first Sunday following the first full moon that occurs on or after the vernal equinox; the vernal equinox is fixed as March 21. Therefore, Easter can never occur before March 22 or later than April 25. However, coming early meant that the harbor was not as busy as weather is still of concern with possible high wind and seas and lower air temperatures. The lucky boaters that are visiting this spring are treated to spectacular views of our seriously green hillsides that are dotted with beautiful floral bloom. Read Complete Post >> |

Registration is now underway for the 20th annual Chamber Day events (to be held on Wednesday, May 7 this year).
