Students from Avalon Schools will be traveling to Europe this summer.
History teacher, Bill Moran has arranged an excting 10-day trip featuring Berlin and Munich, Germany then traveling on to Prague, Czech Republic and on to Lichtenstein and Lucerne. We will be traveling with EF Tours, one of the most respected Educational Tour Companies.
Students participate in fundraising to help with travel costs, extra excursions and of course shopping.
Sunday, April 20 we will have a booth at the Spring Fest selling Ice Coffee, See's candy bars and a Count the Coffee Beans' in a jar with the winner will receive 4 tickets to the next frudraiser, Pasta Night at Coney Island on May 19 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold for $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 years and under.
On May 24 the students will participate in a Walk-a-Thon where the students will be asking for pledges and donations for this event.
