3/9
22:15 Baywatch Cabrillo respond to a 20' Bayliner in distress 1 mile SSE of the LA Light with 6 Persons on Board.  Vessel towed and secured to Cab ramp.

3/10
13:35 Baywatch Isthmus responded to assist an ill hiker west of Rancho Escondido.   Possible heat stroke. Pt. released at scene after an evaluation.
19:35 Baywatch Isthmus responded to a possible boat fire in Cherry Cove. Cancelled in route.

3/11
08:15-09:15 Baywatch Marina del Rey & Baywatch Redondo search for "Mayday"  heard on VHF CH 16 advising "Northwest off of Marina del Rey". search conducted Santa Monica Bay area offshore by Baywatch del Rey, Baywatch Redondo, Marina del Rey Sheriff's Harbor Patrol, Santa Monica Harbor Patrol, &two beach units-17-3, 23-1.
08:43 Baywatch Marina del Rey found  18' I/O dead in water for over 1 hour with 2 persons on board adrift 5 miles WSW off Marina del Rey entrance at  33 54.848N 118 32.837 W. Vessel taken under tow to MDR and USCG notified. 0910 tow was transferred to the MDR sheriffs HP vessel "J Ortiz" inside MDR for the tow back to the launch ramp.
16:17 Baywatch Avalon responds to a person in need of medical attention at their residence.  Patient was treated but refused transport.
17:35 Baywatch Avalon responds to a person injured in a fall while hiking.  Patient was treated and transported to local hospital for further treatment and care.
04:31 Baywatch Avalon responds to a residence for a person in need of medical attention.  Patient was treated and transported to local hospital for further care.

08:41 Baywatch Avalon responds to a report of a vessel adrift 5 miles east of Avalon.  A 28' Bayliner was taken in tow to Avalon.  Tow was transferred to Vessel Assist 2 miles east of Avalon.

12:29 Baywatch Marina del Rey 28' boat lost in fog surfs onto beach at north Venice Breakwater, no injuries, boat breaking up in surf, tractors towed vessel to back of beach.
15:46 Baywatch Isthmus responds to a report of an unmanned vessel at Isthmus Reef in danger of going aground.  After a search, the vessel and crew were located in no distress.
16:18 Baywatch Cabrillo responds to a windsurfer in distress off the outside beach rescue made and escorted safely to ashore

13:14 Baywatch Cabrillo, Boat rescue= Boat Distress, 21' Bayliner with 4 POB, off LA Light.   Vessel taken in tow en route Cabrillo launch ramp
14:25 Baywatch Avalon respond to 6-year-old female hit by golf cart. No injuries, the patient was released on scene.
17:20 Baywatch Avalon, respond to a 88-year-old male with right sided weakness. The patient was treated and transported to local Hospital for further treatment and care.
23:30 Baywatch Cabrillo respond to an 18' catamaran in distress in the Cerritos channel. Vessel towed to the USC rowing center.

13:40 Baywatch Isthmus Responded to reported dive accident off vessel "Tule Mour". Patient 23 y/o female suffering from right leg pain. Patient transported to Chamber for further assessment by Dr.
08:00 Baywatch Malibu Provided a rescue platform for the State lifeguard swim test at  Leo Carrillo.
11:03 Baywatch Avalon treat/transport a SCUBA diver with dislocated shoulder.  Not a "dive case." Transported to local medical facility.
12:50 Baywatch Avalon responded to Camp Fox for a juvenile with abdominal pain.  Pt taken to local medical facility for further treatment and care.
14:30 Baywatch Malibu towed a 40' sailboat off the rocks inside the main channel Marina Del Rey due to gale force winds.
14:37 Baywatch Avalon investigated report of 44' sailboat adrift/missing out of White's Landing.  Vessel located and towed into Avalon.
15:05 Baywatch Marina del Rey / Baywatch Malibu responded to a report of five one man outrigger canoes stranded on the rocks at the detached breakwater in Marina del Rey 1 patient treated for minor injuries, five others were ok...and released at scene.
18:34 Baywatch Avalon psychological rescue transported to local medical facility for further treatment and care

09:34 Baywatch Avalon respond to juvenile complaining of abdominal pain taken from float 1 to local medical facility for further care.
12:15 Baywatch Marina del Rey vessel encumbered/ entangled in anchor lines off Ballona Creek,
13:25 Baywatch Isthmus Assessed and treated a 26 y/o female camper for a minor ankle injury, pt released at scene.
13:55 Baywatch Marina del Rey 24' Sailboat on the rocks in 26 knot WSW winds Marina del Rey towed safely back to slip.
14:10 Baywatch Cabrillo respond to a call from a 35' sailboat involved in a race 1 mile SSE of the LA Light of a man overboard. 26 y/o female was picked up 3 minutes later by same vessel. Baywatch Cabrillo placed the deckhand aboard the sailboat, treated and released her while underway for the new Cabrillo marina.
21:50 Baywatch Avalon, respond to private residence for a 64-year-old male with a compound femur fracture the patient was treated and flown to mainland hospital for further treatment and care.
22:37 Baywatch Avalon, respond to Avalon Sheriff Station, (simultaneous call, Baywatch Avalon crew split, S55 FFS/PM responding with Baywatch Avalon RBC) 15-year-old male syncope, unknown causes. The patient was treated and transported to local medical facility for further treatment and care.

3/17- 3/21 Los Angeles County Fire Department Lifeguard Division is Hosting the 2007 Dept of Boating & Waterways Boat Operations Course @ MDR.
