The Two Harbors Express Returns to Catalina Island

Posted: Tuesday, March 04, 2008 - Catalina-Marina del Rey Flyer

Catalina-Marina del Rey Flyer, operating luxury scheduled passenger ferry service from Fisherman's Village in Marina del Rey (near LAX, Venice, Santa Monica) to Avalon and Two Harbors on Catalina Island, has added a second ferry boat for 2008.  In addition to the "Marina Flyer" a high speed, 149-passenger, hydrofoil -assisted jet catamaran built in 2006, we have added the "Two Harbors Express" to our fleet.  Many will remember the Two Harbors Express plying the waters between San Pedro/Long Beach and Catalina for many years.  This 90-foot, 149-passenger monohull provides backup and overflow capacity for the Marina Flyer during high season, and is ideal for camp runs to Catalina and private charters in the off-season.

For Westsiders, or visitors to Los Angeles staying anywhere from Malibu to the Southbay, from Santa Monica, Beverly Hills to Downtown, or near LAX, leaving from Marina Del Rey for Catalina is ideal . . . and parking is plentiful and only $8.00 per day.

Roundtrip fares between Marina del Rey and Catalina are:  Adult: $75, Senior (62+): $68, Child (2-11): $56.  We offer group discounts for 20+ passengers all traveling on the same itinerary.
