NOAA Issues Small Craft Advisory!

10:00 BAYWATCH AVALON respond to an adult male with medical complaint.  Patient opted to take a private vehicle to the local hospital for further evaluation and care.

10:42 BAYWATCH AVALON responded to an adult female with a medical complaint.  Patient was assessed and transported to the local medical facility for further evaluation and care.

18:15 BAYWATCH MARINA DEL REY Helo Operations Training with United States Coast Guard.

18:24 BAYWATCH ISTHMUS responded to a report of a person not breathing.  Upon arrival, a 56 Male was observed standing outside stating that he was ok.  The patient was assessed and treated.  Witnesses stated that the patient went unconscious and was "caught" by a Good Samaritan.  Paramedics transported the patient to float 5 to meet with BAYWATCH AVALON and Avalon FD for transport to medical facility for further care.

19:42 BAYWATCH AVALON Crew met with the BAYWATCH ISTHMUS crew for a patient transfer. Patient was a 56 year old male with a medical complaint.  Patient was transported to local medical facility for further evaluation and care.

13:51  BAYWATCH AVALON responds to a Golf cart roll over with minor injuries. One person was transported to the local medical facility for further care.
        
18:12 BAYWATCH CABRILLO responds after dark to distressed sailboat 1/2 mi. off Long Pt. USCG Helo assist with search. 38' sailboat safely towed back to King Harbor.

08:13 BAYWATCH AVALON respond to an 80 year old female with general illness complaint. Patient was treated and transported to local medical facility.

22:50 BAYWATCH AVALON respond to a possible accidental drug overdose. Patient was a 50 year old male; Patient was treated and transported to local medical facility for further evaluation and care.

13:47 BAYWATCH ISTHMUS responded to a vessel on fire. The vessel had black smoke coming from the engine room upon arrival. 2 persons were removed from the vessel and the deckhand placed aboard. The cause was determined to be a "runaway" diesel engine. Fuel and air lines were shut off and the engine room was ventilated. After a safety check, the vessel was returned to its owner.

11:03 BAYWATCH AVALON respond to the local Buffalo 5K/Half Marathon for a 37 year old male with a medical complaint,  the patient was unable to complete a half marathon .

11:17 BAYWATCH REDONDO & BAYWATCH CABRILLO respond to a "Mayday" "Mayday" call 1/4 mile off Pt. Vicente. BAYWATCH REDONDO, BAYWATCH CABRILLO and RBFDHP arrive on scene to assist the distressed vessel taking on water. Vessel a 35' Grand banks was pumped and towed safely back to King Harbor.

11:45 BAYWATCH AVALON respond to the local Buffalo 5K/Half Marathon for a 32 year old male with a medical complaint,  the patient was unable to complete a half marathon. Patient treated and released on scene.

14:30 BAYWATCH ISTHMUS respond to a still alarm a 26 year-old male with an eye injury. The patient was treated and released on scene.
