The 14th Annual Shop At Home Night is Sunday, December 2, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, and it supports the community, while providing a fun money-saving evening of holiday shopping.  It's a merry way to get into the holiday spirit, entering to win prizes, and enjoying yuletide entertainment of strolling carolers.

Shop At Home Night kicks off with a tree lighting ceremony on the waterfront in Avalon.  The lighting will occur promptly at 5:00pm on Sunday.  Mayor Bob Kennedy will serve as Master of Ceremonies, and shoppers can gather around to watch the festivities, then pick up their discount cards and hit the stores!  Adding to the festivities, many of the participating stores will be offering refreshments and holiday treats.

Avalon retailers are planning some terrific discounts and all shoppers will be able to enter to win prizes.  On Shop At Home Night, each store will have a drawing to give away a store gift.  In addition, there will be a grand prize drawing each week in December for several exciting, valuable prizes.  The only way to enter the drawings and receive the discounts is to attend the event.

Shoppers will receive one universal discount card valid at any of the 20 participating Avalon retailers.  The discount card will be available to pick up on Shop At Home Night at any participating store and will be good for at least 10% off all purchases made at any participating store between December 2 and December 24.  No purchase is necessary to receive the discount card or to enter any drawing.
