Huell Howser, the emcee of the popular California's Gold and Road Trip with Huell Howser TV shows, will run a special week of programming all about Catalina Island on KCET TV in July.  Viewers can tune in at 7:30 pm, each evening from Monday, July 16th to Friday, July 20th to see Huell's Catalina favorites. Each program will be preceded by a message from Huell encouraging people to visit Catalina this summer.

The programs scheduled are as follows:
Monday, July 16 - 7:30 PM - Wrigley Memorial and Botanical Gardens, a peaceful desert garden spot where Catalina endemic plants are showcased.

Tuesday, July 17 - 7:30 PM - Bird Rock, abundant with marine life and clear water and one of the best dive spots on Catalina.

Wednesday, July 18 - 7:30 PM - Flying Fish Tours, offered only in the summer when the fish fly through air.

Thursday, July 19 - 7:30 PM - El Rancho Escondido, Wrigley's "hidden ranch" where visitors see demonstrations of elegant Arabian horses and horsemanship. 

Friday, July 20 - 7:30 PM - Santa Catalina Country Club and Golf Course, once the site of the Chicago Cubs' spring training camp.
