Harbor officers assisted a Shoreboat operator with a passenger who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. The man was safely delivered to his vessel.

Harbor officers observed a vessel fishing in the Lover's Cove Marine Preserve. Person aboard were warned and advised of AMC code prohibiting this activity.

Harbor officers removed a deteriorated dinghy from a city dock after it had been observed submerged. The owner was warned and advised of AMC code regarding seaworthy vessels. The dinghy was returned to the owner to repair or dispose of.

Harbor officers checked all city docks for 72-hour violations. Three dinghies were found in violation and removed to an impound mooring.
0945
Harbor officers received a VHF radio call of a female down on a shoreboat at the pier.  Responding harbor officers started an initial assessment and requested Baywatch and Rescue 6.

A citation was issued for 72-hour violation.

Harbor officers responded to a vessel that wrapped its propeller in a mooring line. The vessel was secured while waiting for a diver.

While on routine patrol Harbor officers found a dinghy drifting. The dinghy was secured and a report filed.

Friday, February 17, 2006
1600

Harbor officers received a report that a man had dumped an outboard in a dumpster at the Casino. Officers located the man and warned and advised him of AMC code regarding illegal dumping. The outboard was removed from the area.

Saturday, February 18, 2006

While on routine patrol Harbor officers found a dinghy drifting. The skiff was secured and a report was filed.

Harbor officers received a report of a diver outside the dive park. Responding harbor officers found a diver on the surface unconscious and unresponsive. CPR was initiated with immediate transport to the rescue dock where Baywatch, County Fire and Rescue 6 initiated advanced cardiac life support measures.

Harbor officers issued a citation for violation of the 72-hour time limit on city dinghy docks.
