Harbor officers observed that the East jetty navigational aid was extinguished. Officers notified the US Coast Guard.
1715
Harbor officers observed a small fuel slick in the mooring area. Officers determined the vessel and source of the slick. The owner was notified and quickly took action to prevent any further discharge.
1800
While on routine patrol Harbor officers found a rigid bottom inflatable adrift. The vessel was towed to a mooring where it was secured for the owner to claim.

While on routine patrol Harbor officers received a complaint of a generator running. Officers contacted the owner and the generator was secured.

The Avalon Harbor Department received a report that a private plane spotted two red flares near hen rock. The information was passed to Baywatch Avalon for investigation.
