Every year, including this year, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Catalina Island Conservancy.
"This race shows the true beauty of Catalina Island, by having the course run through the trails, valleys and ocean ridgelines, each runner experiences a personal tour of the island's interior, " said Mike Bone, Race Director of the Catalina Island Eco Marathon. "The runners also enjoy giving back to the Conservancy to help sustain the trails and interior." Spectrum Sports
