Newport Landing Sportfishing has been providing fishing trips for over 25 years. Our 3/4 day fishing trip fishes Catalina Island targeting yellowtail to over 40 pounds, white sea bass to 50 pounds, barracuda, calico bass, bonito, and over a dozen other species of fish. Our boats carry huge quantities of live bait which gives us an advantage in attracting and catching fish. Fishing trips depart from Newport Harbor in Newport Beach. 		Newport Landing Whale Watching provides year around whale & dolphin cruises. During Winter and Spring view the annual grey whale migration. Summer & Fall are favorite times for blue whales, with lengths over 80 feet! Killer whales (orcas) and other types of whales may be viewed along with several species of dolphin, seals, and much more. Our whale watching ship has an upper sundeck, wrap around outdoor seating, and indoor snack bar with comfy booth seating. Cruises departing from Newport Beach average 2 hours in length. 3 cruises are available each day with 5 cruises daily available during summer months. Also on select days we offer a Catalina Island Day Whale & Dolphin Cruise. Join others on one of our general admission cruises.
