Newport Landing Sportfishing Newport Landing Sportfishing provides deep sea fishing trips daily. Open to the general public fishing trips allow individuals and groups to join others on one of our spacious fishing boats. Newport Landing Sportfishing has been providing fishing trips for over 25 years. Our 3/4 day fishing trip fishes Catalina Island targeting yellowtail to over 40 pounds, white sea bass to 50 pounds, barracuda, calico bass, bonito, and over a dozen other species of fish. Our boats carry huge quantities of live bait which gives us an advantage in attracting and catching fish. Fishing trips depart from Newport Harbor in Newport Beach. For private boat rentals or private charters, we can depart from either Newport Harbor or upon request pick up from Catalina Island.

Newport Beach
Home to some of the most exclusive real estate in the country, Newport Beach has become synonymous with Southern California wealth. Its bays and islands host massive estates perched above private docks and multi-million dollar yachts. Visitors to the city, however, quickly discover that Newport Beach offers much more than just an enclave for ultra-rich. Miles of white sand beach and the pounding Pacific create the quintessential California seascape, while the quaint village atmosphere of Balboa contrasts with the world-class sophistication of Newport Beach’s dining, shopping and entertainment. Outdoor activities abound, including surfing, kayaking and boating, as well as exploring the ecological treasure that is Newport’s Back Bay.
