Discover the wild side of Catalina Island by visiting the Wrigley Memorial and Botanical Garden. A beautiful walk up Avalon Canyon will lead you to this 70-year-old garden, which features desert plants from around the world as well as plants native to California's islands. The garden provides a rare chance to see the eight Catalina endemics, plants that are found nowhere else on earth. At the top of the garden is the magnificent Wrigley Memorial, a Roman inspired monument crafted from native stone and Catalina tile. The imposing edifice culminates with a dramatic view down Avalon Canyon to the harbor.
Enjoy the pleasant one and one-half mile walk up Avalon Canyon or hop on a trolley.
